1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by British Heritage Holidays ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

British Heritage Holidays provides travel planning, booking, and related services for holidays within Great Britain. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Tour planning and organization
• Accommodation booking
• Transportation arrangements
• Guide services
• Travel consultation

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by British Heritage Holidays. A booking is confirmed only when we send written confirmation.

3.2 Payment

Payment terms are as follows:

• A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking
• Full payment is due 8 weeks before travel date
• Bookings made within 8 weeks of travel require full payment at booking
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation charges apply as follows:

• More than 8 weeks before travel: Loss of deposit
• 4-8 weeks before travel: 50% of total cost
• 2-4 weeks before travel: 75% of total cost
• Less than 2 weeks before travel: 100% of total cost

4.2 Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient bookings, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, full refunds will be provided.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. British Heritage Holidays is not liable for costs arising from cancellation, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances not covered by insurance.

6. Liability and Disclaimers

6.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for our services. We are not liable for:

• Acts of third-party service providers
• Force majeure events
• Personal injury or property damage
• Consequential or indirect damages

6.2 Third-Party Services

We arrange services with independent suppliers. Their terms and conditions apply to services they provide.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Valid travel documents and visas if required
• Compliance with health and safety instructions
• Appropriate travel insurance
• Disclosure of medical conditions that may affect travel
• Respectful behavior toward guides, fellow travelers, and local communities

8. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or operational requirements. We will provide reasonable alternatives when possible.

9. Complaints Procedure

If you have concerns during your trip, please inform your guide or contact us immediately. Post-travel complaints must be submitted in writing within 28 days of return.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without permission.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
